The Sikawasay, from the Amis tribe in Hualien, is known as the people who possess spirits. They are fated to maintain traditional rituals in service of the tribe, a process of interacting with the gods.
Scholar Panay Mulu has been with them for 20 years. She records rituals that may soon disappear and captures the tribe’s unique way of life.
本片描述了台灣花蓮吉安鄉阿美族里漏部落,一群堅持著傳統的Sikawasay祭師團體與追隨陪伴她們多年的田野工作者Panay Mulu之間的一段生命故事,藉由影像記錄下即將消逝的傳統巫師祭儀文化,也為這群Sikawasay們留下生命的風景,在拍攝過程中Panay Mulu藉著訪問這些老人,也在自己的生命經驗中尋找自己對於靈的觀點,冥冥之中神靈也指引著她,走上這一條不得不去面對的道路。
