He pursed the mystery of “Tenmoku”, Sung-dynasty technique lost for eight hundred years. He based on modern science, but the process he applies is the most primitive wood burning kiln in order to mimic the way the ancestor used. For decades, over 800 kilns were built and burned, all by himself, alone.
