Kang Gu-ryong is the fastest man in Korea, yet he has never managed to overcome that narrow gap and step onto the international stage. Sports injuries, a looming divorce, and a doping scandal hit him one after another. His prime long behind him, society has already labeled him a “failure.”

Meanwhile, Kang Seung-ryeol, a carefree high school student, runs faster than he plays soccer. Chasing after the girl on the track, he boldly challenges the rising sprint star.
