However, the same nightmare enwinds him every night: A vision of a young lady dressed in red dress continuously appears. A timer counting-back from 49 mysteriously appears on his arm. People around him accidentally died one by one in brutal ways.
Yi-Zhen, a Criminal Police, suspects that Daniel is the murderer. In their search for the young lady dressed in red, Daniel experiences a tour to the hell with Taiwan Sorcery ‘Guan-Luo-In’.

’49 DAYS’ is the first Taiwanese movie that combines Guan-Luo-In with Virtual Reality. It is an original story written by award-winning producer, PAN Chi-Yuan. The production budget is USD$ 2.5 M.

In the poster, Lewis’ eyes were covered by ‘a strip of red cloth’, a symbol of Taiwanese Sorcery, “觀落陰” (Guan-Luo-In), a dark witchcraft leading the living people to descend into the hell to visit the dead.
